Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has completed the filming of ‘Chandu Champion,’ his much-anticipated project with acclaimed filmmaker Kabir Khan.
The ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ star shared the exciting news with his fans through an Instagram post on Wednesday, PTI reported from Mumbai.
In a video from the film’s wrap party, Aaryan is seen indulging in a celebratory moment as Kabir Khan feeds him the traditional Indian sweet, rasmalai. Aaryan, who underwent a rigorous diet for his role as a sports hero, expressed his joy at finally enjoying sugar after a year.
“This RasMalai Tasted Like Victory! Finally eating sugar after a year!! After more than a year of intense preparation and 8 months of day-n-night shoots across the globe, today we complete the shooting journey of #ChanduChampion,” Aaryan captioned the heartfelt clip.
The actor commenced shooting for ‘Chandu Champion’ in July 2023, and the film, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE), is based on the remarkable real-life story of a sportsman known for his unwavering spirit.
The movie is slated to hit the screens on June 14, promising an inspirational cinematic experience.
