Karishma Kakar has been promoted to the role of Associate Director at ZEE5, marking a significant milestone in her professional journey. She previously held the position of Senior Manager – Marketing and has been associated with the streaming platform since 2022.
Kakar shared the news of her promotion through a LinkedIn post, writing, “I’m happy to share that I have been promoted to Associate Director at ZEE5!” Her update has since received congratulatory messages from peers and industry colleagues, recognising her steady growth and contributions to the brand.
With more than 12 years of experience in digital and print media, Karishma has built a strong portfolio in campaign strategy, regional content marketing, stakeholder management, and audience-first storytelling. Her keen understanding of both traditional and new-age media has helped her stand out as a marketer with a strategic yet grounded approach.
Prior to joining ZEE5, she worked with several well-known organisations such as Mid Day, Hindustan Times, Marico Ltd, Haymarket Publications, Inscripts, BloombergUTV, and Hanmer MSL — gaining deep insights into diverse markets and media landscapes.
Karishma is an MBA in Marketing from Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management and is known for her consumer-centric outlook and creative agility. In her new role, she is expected to further drive ZEE5’s marketing efforts, bringing sharper focus to audience engagement and regional penetration across the platform’s growing footprint.
