Actor Karan Tacker has officially wrapped up the shoot for his upcoming thriller ‘Bhay, which also stars Kalki Koechlin, in the city of London. The film, described as a psychological thriller, marks a significant step in both actors’ filmographies and has generated early curiosity for its genre and casting.
As reported by IANS, the project has been filmed extensively across iconic and lesser-known locations in London, with the final schedule concluding over the weekend. The cast and crew celebrated the wrap with a quiet dinner in the city, sources close to the production revealed.
Karan Tacker, best known for his performances in shows like Special OPS and Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the sets, writing, “What a ride. ‘Bhay’ is one of those stories that shakes you up. Can’t wait for you all to see what we’ve created.” Kalki Koechlin, known for her powerful roles in Margarita with a Straw and Mithya, also shared her excitement, calling the project “intense and deeply immersive.”
While plot details remain under wraps, Bhay is expected to explore themes of trauma, perception, and fear. The film has been directed by a new voice in psychological cinema and is being backed by an Indo-British production house that aims to bring culturally nuanced thrillers to the global screen.
Set for a late 2025 release, Bhay has already caught the attention of streaming platforms, though the makers have not yet confirmed whether it will be a theatrical release or an OTT premiere.
The film’s title, Bhay, which translates to “fear,” suggests an emotionally intense narrative. Insiders describe it as a character-driven story with gripping visuals and a haunting score. With two strong performers in the lead, the film is being keenly watched by fans and critics alike.
