The sci-fi fantasy magnum opus ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is reaching new heights as the makers have announced the official release date for the film’s trailer, which will be unveiled on June 10.

Starring an ensemble cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ promises to be a ground-breaking addition to the genre, IANS reported.

On Wednesday, the film’s creators took to social media to share the exciting news along with a captivating poster featuring Prabhas’s character standing atop a hill with a futuristic cityscape in the background. The poster boldly states: “Everything is about to change.”

The announcement was captioned, ‘A new world awaits. #Kalki2898AD Trailer on June 10.’

The teaser for ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ was first unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con last year, generating significant buzz. Additionally, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan’s first look from the film was revealed on his 81st birthday, further heightening the excitement.

Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is slated for a worldwide release on June 27, 2024.
