Actress Julia Garner, best known for her role in the popular series ‘Ozark’, is set to lead Apple TV’s upcoming thriller series ‘Guilty Creatures’.
According to a PTI report, the series will be based on the acclaimed true crime book ‘Guilty Creatures’ by author Mikita Brottman. The story is expected to bring a gripping crime narrative to the screen, inspired by the events and themes explored in the bestselling book.
Filmmaker Craig Gillespie will direct the series. He has previously received praise for his work on projects including ‘Your Friends & Neighbors’ and ‘Pam & Tommy’. Gillespie will bring the true-crime story to life with a thriller style approach.
The script adaptation will be handled by Sarah DeLappe, while Stuart Zicherman will serve as the showrunner and executive producer. Julia Garner will also join the team as an executive producer, taking on a key role behind the scenes. Apple TV has not yet announced the release date or additional details about the cast of ‘Guilty Creatures’. The series adds another major thriller project to the platform’s growing lineup of original content.
