JioStar has emerged as one of the biggest winners at the 2025 edition of the Global Entertainment Marketing Academy of Arts & Sciences (GEMA) India Awards, clinching an impressive 32 metals — 15 Golds and 17 Silvers across multiple categories. From promos and campaigns to craft, design, social media, and branded partnerships, JioStar’s work set new creative benchmarks in entertainment marketing.
Founded as Promax six decades ago, GEMA continues to be among the most prestigious platforms for honouring innovation in TV and streaming marketing. The recognition further cements JioStar’s position as a creative powerhouse in India’s evolving media landscape, the company said in a press release.
The sweep reflects JioStar’s strength in producing clutter-breaking content that blends innovation with audience impact. The company’s wins spanned promos, video campaigns, branded collaborations, and design, showcasing its ability to engage audiences while creating tangible value for partners and advertisers.

Among the standout victories was the Thunder Thighs Film Festival campaign, which secured multiple awards, including Gold in the Action | Adventure | Thriller Promo and Clip-based Promotion categories. The Yoga Day Ident and Cineplex Diwali Diya Ident also stood out, winning Golds in Holiday Promo and Design respectively.
The company’s Kids & Infotainment division also made a strong mark with the One for Change campaigns, earning accolades across categories such as In-House Campaign, Brand Image Campaign, and Social Good.
On the creative craft front, JioStar scored big with Showtime: KJO’s Biopic?, which won Gold for Script Writing and Gold for Use of Talent/Influence in Social Media. Similarly, Chhota Startup won Gold for Directing, highlighting JioStar’s versatility across genres and formats.
