JioStar launches IPL 2026 ‘Ek Hoke Dekh’ campaign

JioStar has unveiled its campaign for the 2026 season of the Indian Premier League, titled ‘Ek Hoke Dekh’, calling on fans across the country to come together for one of the biggest sporting spectacles. Built around the idea of unity, the campaign carries the central message —  “Watch as one” — as the league returns for its 19th edition.

The campaign film, conceptualised by ZeroFifty and produced by Jamic Films, features leading cricketers including Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer, Krunal Pandya, Tilak Varma and Mohammed Siraj. Set against a high-energy narrative, the film opens in a tea shop with a disagreement over identity, before the players step in to reframe the conversation through the lens of cricket and shared fandom.

Through individual stories, the film highlights how players, despite their diverse regional roots, are embraced by fans across franchise cities, reinforcing the idea that belonging in the IPL goes beyond geography. The narrative builds towards a unifying moment where rival fans come together, underlining the campaign’s core message of collective celebration.

Speaking about the initiative, Siddharth Sharma, Head of Content, Sports at JioStar, said that with 18 seasons behind it, the IPL has evolved into a powerful social phenomenon that transcends differences. He noted that for two months every year, the league blurs cultural and regional boundaries, bringing people together through a shared passion for the game.

Echoing this sentiment, Ruturaj Gaikwad shared that the campaign reflects a lived reality for players, where fans from different regions adopt them as their own. He added that the IPL has a unique ability to unite people in a way few sporting events can.

Shriram Iyer, Co-founder of ZeroFifty, described ‘Ek Hoke Dekh’ as both a call to action and a tribute to the league’s spirit, pointing out the paradox of the IPL—while it fuels team rivalries, it simultaneously creates a shared experience that brings fans together.

As the new season approaches, JioStar aims to build on this sentiment, positioning the IPL not just as a tournament, but as a cultural moment that connects millions. The 2026 edition promises a mix of emerging talent, established stars and iconic players, with matches set to be broadcast live on JioHotstar and the Star Sports Network.
