JioStar has appointed Dwijendra Parashar as Senior Director Marketing, Sports.
Parashar shared the update through a LinkedIn post. He wrote, “Turns out you can take a man out of cricket, but not cricket out of the man! Thrilled to share that I’m starting a new role as Sr. Director of Marketing Sports at JioStar.”
In his new role, Parashar will be part of JioStar’s sports marketing team and will work on marketing initiatives for the company’s sports properties.
Before joining JioStar, Parashar worked with Tata Consumer Products in marketing and innovation roles. He has also served as Head of Marketing at Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals.
Earlier, Parashar worked with The Walt Disney Company, where he was involved in cricket marketing and served as Marketing Lead for ESPNcricinfo. He has also worked with companies including Pidilite Industries and Samsung Electronics.
With experience across sports, marketing and consumer brands, Parashar brings a strong background in sports marketing to his new role at JioStar.
