JioCinema Premium to stream ‘Dune: Prophecy’ from Nov 18

JioCinema Premium has unveiled the official trailer for the highly anticipated HBO original drama series ‘Dune: Prophecy’, co-produced with Legendary Television. This six-episode season will premiere exclusively on JioCinema Premium, starting November 18 at 6:30 am, with new episodes released every following Monday.

Set in the expansive universe of Dune, created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, ‘Dune: Prophecy’ takes place 10,000 years before the rise of Paul Atreides. The story follows two Harkonnen sisters as they battle forces threatening the future of humankind and establish the legendary sect known as the Bene Gesserit. The series draws inspiration from the novel ‘Sisterhood of Dune’, authored by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, the platform said in a press note.

The cast includes a stellar lineup of actors such as Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Camilla Beeput, Jihae, Tabu, Charithra Chandran, Jessica Barden, Emma Canning, and Yerin Ha.

‘Dune: Prophecy’ promises to deliver a rich narrative filled with intrigue and power struggles within the iconic Dune universe.
