JioCinema Premium to premiere ‘Gaanth’ on June 11

Following the success of hits like ‘Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond’ and ‘Murder in Mahim’, JioCinema Premium is set to premiere its latest original series, ‘Gaanth’, on June 11.

Starring Manav Vij, Monika Panwar, and Saloni Batra, this gripping murder mystery delves into a chilling case that blurs the lines between reality and perception.

Set in the eerie streets of East Delhi, ‘Gaanth’ centers on a disturbing case of mass suicide that captures both media and police attention. Manav Vij plays Gadar Singh, a disgraced 40-year-old police inspector determined to uncover the truth behind the macabre crime scene featuring seven bodies hanging from ropes. Monika Panwar stars as Sakshi Murmu, a psychiatric intern with a unique ability to perceive hidden patterns. Together, Singh and Murmu form an unlikely partnership to unravel a complex web of crimes spanning decades.

Directed by Kanishk Verma and produced by Ajit Andhare under Tipping Point Series, ‘Gaanth’ promises to intertwine elements of media sensationalism, religious beliefs, superstitions, and social psychosis in a captivating narrative.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious. So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
