iTV Network has announced two significant leadership elevations that signal a bold new chapter for the organisation. Effective Wednesday, August 13, 2025, Akshansh Yadav has been appointed CEO – Digital, while senior journalist Rishabh Gulati has been elevated to CEO – NewsX, NewsX World, NXT and The Indian Arena Polo League.
According to a press release, iTV Network said these appointments are more than just promotions — they represent a recognition of exceptional leadership, vision and commitment that both individuals have demonstrated in shaping the network’s trajectory over the years. Together, Yadav and Gulati are expected to steer the organisation into its next era of innovation, deeper audience engagement, and stronger market leadership.
Akshansh Yadav’s elevation reflects the network’s ambition to scale up its digital assets to new heights. A seasoned media professional, he brings over a decade of experience across ABP News, Zee News and the India Today Group, along with fintech and D2C expertise gained during his tenure with Canara HSBC Insurance, Insurance Dekho and CarDekho. At iTV Network, he has already played a pivotal role in shaping its digital strategy and will now oversee a broad portfolio, including NewsX, India News, The Daily Guardian, The Sunday Guardian and Inkhabar.
Dr. Aishwarya Pandit Sharma, Chairperson of iTV Foundation, expressed confidence in Yadav’s appointment, stating, “I am delighted to announce the promotion of Akshansh Yadav as CEO, iTV Network – Digital. Akshansh has been instrumental in shaping iTV Network’s digital trajectory and is well-equipped to drive forward in its next phase of growth. His vast knowledge and domain prowess will hold iTV Network’s digital assets in good stead and will definitely help us consolidate our position further.”
In response, Yadav said he was both honoured and privileged to step into the new role. “This is a profound responsibility to shape the future of some of the most dynamic digital properties in the industry. The potential to transform and elevate these platforms is immense, and I am excited by the opportunity to lead them into an era of exponential growth,” he remarked. Yadav holds a Computer Science Engineering degree from Rajasthan Technical University, an MBA from MICA and a licentiate in Machine Learning from Harvard University.
Meanwhile, the elevation of Rishabh Gulati is a recognition of his journalistic excellence and leadership. A nationally renowned journalist with over two decades of experience in electronic media, Gulati has been central to the growth and credibility of NewsX. In his expanded role, he will now lead NewsX, NewsX World, NXT and the Indian Arena Polo League, continuing to strengthen them as content brands that inspire trust and innovation.
Commenting on Gulati’s promotion, Dr. Aishwarya Pandit Sharma noted, “High-quality content is at the core of our work at iTV Network, and this elevation is designed to meet the long-term needs of the business. Internally, it will allow swifter decision-making and better cross-platform collaboration, while externally, we will be better equipped to meet the challenges of the rapidly changing media environment. I congratulate Rishabh on his new responsibilities. His experience and leadership will add to the quality of content we provide to our viewers every day.”
Expressing his gratitude, Gulati said, “My thanks to Shri Kartikeya Sharma and Dr. Aishwarya Pandit Sharma for thinking me worthy of this growing responsibility. We’ve built a team and a legacy that is already something special. I look forward to further strengthening NewsX as a people-first, consumer-centric, solutions-oriented forum of news, not noise. The institution being created around NewsX World and taking this credible brand across the globe is something worthy of a life’s work. NXT has already made its mark as a trendsetter focused on the future affairs of Bharat and the world. Let us also look forward to augmenting one of India’s legendary sports through the Indian Arena Polo League.”
These appointments, the network said, mark a new era for iTV — one where bold vision meets proven leadership. By entrusting its most capable leaders with responsibility over both digital and television pillars, iTV Network is aiming for accelerated growth, stronger audience connections, and a lasting impact on India’s media landscape.
