Instagram has introduced a new educational resource named ‘Creator Lab’ in India, aimed at supporting and guiding aspiring content creators.
This initiative is part of Instagram’s ongoing investment in educational resources for creators, which began in 2019 with the ‘Born on Instagram’ program. The Creator Lab is designed to update and enhance the educational content available through the ‘Born on Instagram’ program, providing creators with insights and learnings directly from their peers, The Economic Times reported.
The Creator Lab will feature content from 14 creators, including Aabir Vyas, Govind Kaushal, Meethika Dwivedi, Raghav Sachhar, and The Vixens Crew. These creators represent various geographies, genres, and growth journeys and will share their personal experiences, lessons, and insights.
The content will revolve around three core themes essential for sustained success on Instagram:
- Expressing Yourself: This theme focuses on using Instagram’s tools and features to enhance creative expression.
- Building Community: Insights on how to create meaningful connections and build a loyal following.
- Growing Long-Term: Strategies on how to monetize content, play the long game, and build a sustainable career as a creator.
The educational material in the Creator Lab is designed to be practical and actionable, with creators discussing what they wish they had known when they started and what they have learned through trial and error.
