India TV has unveiled a dedicated 24×7 oyga channel. The channel, a first-of-its-kind in India, features exclusive content and insights from renowned yoga guru Baba Ramdev, the media company said.
As per a press release, the channel is designed for health-conscious audiences and will serve as a comprehensive guide, offering insights into various postures, sequences and their associated benefits.
Specialized sessions on yoga philosophy, education, and holistic well-being, including nutrition and guided meditation, aim to cater to viewers of all levels, the news channel said.
India TV Managing Director Ritu Dhawan, while expressing enthusiasm about the channel’s launch, emphasised the transformative nature of yoga as a holistic practice. She stated, “Yoga is not merely a workout, but is a way of life that encompasses physical, spiritual and mental well-being.”
The channel aligns with India TV’s strategic vision to bridge ancient Indian spiritual practices with contemporary lifestyles. The move aims to provide viewers with an accessible platform to integrate wellness practices into their daily routines.
Dhawan highlighted the significance of the CTV platform in reaching a wider audience, stating, “CTV is the way forward, and its reach is expanding with each passing day. Launching the Yoga channel on the CTV platform allows us to connect with a broader viewer base.”
With the addition of the yoga channel, India TV‘s CTV portfolio now comprises five exclusive channels. The group entered the CTV landscape last year with the launch of India TV Live, India TV Speed News and India TV Aap ki Adalat, followed by India TV Chunav Manch in October, dedicated to 24×7 election updates.
The yoga channel will be available on the India TV Live app.
