As the churn and changes in Zee Entertainment continues, an old company hand, Anil Malhotra, has been given charge of key areas of distribution and revenue at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL), overseeing both cable and DTH operations.
According to company sources, this transition comes in the wake of the departure of Atul Das, who had previously held the position and has now stepped down.
However, Malhotra’s exact designation is yet to be decided.
Malhotra brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the media industry, having served in various leadership roles within ZEEL and other prominent organizations.
His strategic perception and proven track record makes him well-suited to drive ZEEL‘s distribution and revenue initiatives forward in an increasingly competitive market.
With the convergence of traditional cable and DTH platforms with digital streaming services, Malhotra’s leadership will be instrumental in positioning ZEEL for sustained growth and success, feel company insiders. Malhotra will directly report to Zee MD & CEO Puneet Goenka.
