India and Pakistan are set to renew their cricket rivalry in the Asian Games 2026 men’s cricket final on Saturday, October 3, with the much-anticipated clash to be broadcast live on Sony Sports Network and streamed on Sony LIV.
The two Asian powerhouses will meet in a final for the first time since the Asia Cup 2025, with the Asian Games gold medal now at stake. The clash is expected to draw attention well beyond regular cricket audiences as the arch-rivals compete for a place at the top of the podium.
In a press release, Sony Sports Network and Sony LIV announced the live coverage of the India-Pakistan final, with the coverage beginning at 9.30 am IST on Saturday. The match is scheduled to start at 10 am IST.
India booked their place in the final with a commanding 124-run victory over Sri Lanka in the semi-final. The Men in Blue had advanced to the semi-finals as the higher-ranked side after their quarter-final against Afghanistan was abandoned due to rain.
Pakistan, meanwhile, secured a six-wicket victory over Bangladesh in their semi-final. The team had progressed from a rain-affected quarter-final against Hong Kong before overcoming Bangladesh to set up the title clash with India.
The final brings together the tournament’s two highest-seeded teams, with both sides entering the contest after convincing semi-final victories. With the gold medal on the line, the match will add another chapter to the long-running India-Pakistan cricket rivalry.
The final will be played at Korogi Sports Park, Nisshin, with live coverage available on Sony Sports Ten 1 SD & HD, Sony Sports Ten 3 SD & HD in Hindi, and Sony Sports Ten 4 SD in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
The match will also be streamed live exclusively on Sony LIV, with coverage starting at 9.30 am IST ahead of the scheduled 10 am start.
