Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Dr Arora- Gupt Rog Visheshagya’ to stream on SonyLIV

Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali-created show ‘Dr Arora- Gupt Rog Visheshagya’ is set to premiere on SonyLIV on July 22.

Starring seasoned actor Kumud Mishra in the title role, the show is billed as a quirky, light-hearted dramedy that chronicles the life and times of a traveling sex consultant and his various patients.

A Window Seat Films and Reliance Entertainment production, ‘Dr Arora’ is directed by Imtiaz’s younger brother Sajid Ali and debutant Archit Kumar.

Imtiaz, best known for directing films ‘Jab We Met’, ‘Love Aaj Kal’, ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Tamasha’, said his train journey from his home town Jamshedpur to Delhi has always left him intrigued about the world of local sex doctors that exists in the heartland of India.

‘Dr Arora’ also stars Gaurav Parajuli, Vivek Mushran, Ajitesh Gupta, Vidya Malvade, Sandeepa Dhar, and Shekhar Suman. It is produced by Mohit Choudhary.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious. So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
