Hungama Digital Media has officially announced the winners of ‘Women Game Changers 2025’, a prestigious initiative that continues to recognise inspiring women from the world of music, video and gaming.
This year’s edition, backed by a powerhouse jury of celebrated industry names, celebrates women who are not only excelling in their respective fields but are also redefining creativity, breaking barriers and reshaping the media landscape.
According to a press release, ‘Women Game Changers 2025’ honours 50 influential women whose stories exemplify innovation, grit and impact. The expert jury this year brought together key figures across industries from entertainment and digital platforms to gaming and entrepreneurship who collectively shortlisted a vibrant and diverse list of creators, founders, artists and visionaries.
The jury included Raunaq Roy (Senior VP, Hungama Digital Media), Soumini Sridhara Paul (Senior VP, Artist Aloud & Content Partnerships, Hungama), Megha Tata (Strategic Advisor/Independent Director), Srishti Behl (CEO, Phantom Films), music director Merlin D’souza, Nirmika Singh (Founder, Mox Asia), Kanan Rai (Ex-Business Head, Google Play), Preeta Sukhtankar (Founder, The Label Life), gaming leaders Poornima Seetharaman and Soumya Iyer (Zynga), and Sonia Parasnis (VP, Creative & Content Programming, Hungama).
Commenting on the initiative, Raunaq Roy called Women Game Changers “more than a list — it’s a movement,” celebrating not just on-screen stars but also the creators, coders, and changemakers behind the scenes. Echoing similar sentiments, Megha Tata said the platform continues to inspire with every edition. “More power to these women,” she added.
Jury member Merlin D’souza said being part of the initiative felt like “time-travelling through the future of creativity,” while Nirmika Singh highlighted the “fearless storytelling” and innovative voices celebrated this year. Kanan Rai appreciated the initiative for consistently recognising women in a still male-dominated space, while Soumini Sridhara Paul emphasised that showcasing these achievers motivates the next generation of female professionals.
Sonia Parasnis added that the women honoured this year have turned “passion into power and dreams into impact,” becoming the reason the next generation dares to dream bigger.
This year’s list features names like Chinmayi Sripada, Shreya Ghoshal, Usha Uthup, Jonita Gandhi, Raja Kumari, Sumukhi Suresh, Faye D’Souza, Guneet Monga, and many more. These women will be featured across Hungama’s platforms through exclusive interviews and podcasts, offering a closer look into their stories and accomplishments.
Hungama’s ‘Women Game Changers’ has grown into a defining platform that celebrates excellence and representation across creative and tech-driven industries, and the 2025 edition stands out once again for its bold and inspiring selections.
