Havas Media Network India, a prominent media agency conglomerate under Havas India, has named Anand Kumar as President – South, Havas Media India.
In this role, Kumar will lead the operations in the southern markets and will be based in Bengaluru. He will report to Uday Mohan, Managing Director of Havas Media India, and collaborate closely with the agency’s core leadership team, as per a press release.
Kumar brings with him over two decades of invaluable experience, with a diverse background in various markets and esteemed agencies. Prior to joining Havas Media India, he led a media consultancy focusing on Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) clients. Additionally, Kumar held senior roles at GroupM for a decade.
His extensive experience spans across multiple categories and specialized media domains, including FMCG, Automobile, Lifestyle, Telecom, Durables, D2C, and Tech. Noteworthy clients he has worked with include Dabur, Hero MotoCorp, Flipkart, Samsung, and Flipkart Fashion, among others.
Under Kumar’s leadership, Havas Media India‘s southern operations aim to further solidify their growth trajectory. The region has seen remarkable progress in client acquisition and retention, with notable brands such as Swiggy, PUMA, Ola, and Quickr. This expansion reinforces the South as a key hub for Havas Media, positioning the agency as a preferred partner for emerging brands and unicorns in India.
