In a meeting held on Monday, the board of directors of Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd. appointed Tavinderjit Singh Panesar as the company’s Chief Executive Officer, according to a BSE filing.
Meanwhile, on Monday, Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd, a provider of cable TV and fiber internet services, also announced a consolidated net loss of Rs 14.61 crore for the fourth quarter that ended March 31, 2023.
Hathway Cable & Datacom reported a net profit of Rs 28.42 crore in the January-March quarter a year ago.
Tavinderjit is an accomplished professional with three decades of cross-functional expertise in management, strategic planning, distribution, business development, media and entertainment, and broadcasting.
He effectively assisted businesses in defining their mission and managing resources to promote continuity and long-term growth.
He has been a part of several companies’ growth journeys and has assisted them in fast achieving their respective goals, particularly in broadcasting, media, sales, and distribution.
He is a commerce graduate who has worked for, led, and managed companies such as ESPN Star Sports, Star India, Apollo Tyres, and JK Industries at various levels, assisting them in growing in their respective sectors.
Tavinderjit formerly served as CEO of Hathway Digital Limited, a Material Subsidiary of the Company, from December 8, 2014 until July 25, 2017.
