Netflix has officially greenlit the return of the hit crime comedy series ‘Guns & Gulaabs’ for a highly anticipated second season. Created by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the show is set to continue its thrilling narrative, set against the backdrop of the 1990s.
The announcement of the show’s renewal was made by Netflix through a teaser video, generating excitement across social media platforms. “Khali haath nahi, Guns & Gulaabs ka naya season leke aaye hain #GunsAndGulaabs Season 2 is coming only on Netflix,” PTI reported from Mumbai.
The stellar cast, including Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav and Gulshan Devaiah, is set to reprise their roles for the upcoming season. The storyline follows a lovestruck mechanic, a reluctant gang heir, an officer-turned-agent-of-chaos, and a notorious killer known as 4-cut Atmaram.
Rao and Devaiah enthusiastically shared the announcement video on their Instagram pages, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support from fans. “Aapka itna pyaar paana, Tipu ke liye prem patra se kam nahi tha. Tipu ka jalwa dekhna mat bhoolna! #GunsAndGulaabs Season 2, is coming only on Netflix,” Rao wrote.
Meanwhile, Devaiah thanked fans for their immense love, hinting at the excitement to witness “4-cut Atmaram” once again.
The first season, which debuted on Netflix in August, garnered significant attention and featured the late actor Satish Kaushik in a pivotal role. Fans can’t wait to delve back into the engaging world of ‘Guns & Gulaabs’ when the second season hits the streaming platform.
