Nikhil Gandhi, who has held senior leadership positions at TikTok, MX Player, The Walt Disney Company and Times Network, has launched VYYB AI Technologies Ltd, an artificial intelligence venture focused on improving how commercial spaces manage sensory experiences.
Headquartered at the DIFC Dubai AI Campus, the company is beginning operations in the UAE, with AI-powered commercial background music as its first area of focus. The launch marks Gandhi’s transition into entrepreneurship after more than 26 years in corporate leadership across media and technology, the company said in a press release.
During his career, Gandhi has worked across user growth, monetisation, advertising, distribution and commercial strategy. His experience across digital platforms and media businesses has given him exposure to evolving consumer behaviour, different business models and the role of technology in business growth. In 2026, he also completed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Applied Agentic AI programme.
VYYB AI aims to bring greater intelligence to the management of physical environments where people work, shop, dine and spend time. While businesses often invest heavily in the design and visual identity of their premises, elements such as background music, temperature and scent are frequently managed separately. The company aims to use AI to make these sensory elements more responsive to the needs and context of individual commercial establishments.
Its first product, VYYB SONIC, focuses on AI-powered commercial background music management. The company is also developing VYYB ATMOS for climate optimisation and VYYB AURA for contextual scenting. In the longer term, it plans to bring these capabilities together through a proposed platform called VYYB AMBIENCE.
Commenting on his move into entrepreneurship, Nikhil Gandhi, Founder and CEO of VYYB AI Technologies Ltd, said his corporate career had shown him how technology could transform business operations and audience engagement. He sees physical environments as an area with considerable scope for further innovation.
Gandhi added that VYYB AI is being built in the UAE with a global ambition to help commercial spaces respond more effectively to customers while maintaining consistency with their brands. The company is starting with music through VYYB SONIC, with its solutions designed around practical requirements for businesses and their venues.
VYYB AI is initially exploring opportunities across commercial sectors, including retail and hospitality. As it develops its product portfolio, the company aims to expand beyond sound management into other aspects of the sensory environment.
