The official trailer of ‘Shaitan’, an upcoming Telugu crime drama web series, was unveiled on Monday.
The upcoming series, created and directed by Mahi V Raghav, who previously created the Hotstar original series ‘Save The Tigers’, will premiere on Disney + Hotstar on June 15.
While ‘Save The Tigers’ was a comedy set around three hen-pecked husbands and their marital troubles, ‘Shaitan’ is a complete departure of sorts for its creator.
The nearly two-minute trailer depicts a group of serial killers who may or may not be related to one another, with cops on the other end trying to figure out how to catch these serial killers.
The trailer has expletives and graphic scenes, which may require viewer discretion. There is also a disembodied head of a man that makes an appearance a couple of times in the trailer.
‘Shaitan’ stars Rishi, Shelly, Ravi Kale, Deviyani, Jaffer Sadiq, Lenaa, Nithin Prasanna, Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Manikandan, Ravi Kumar, Aneesha Dama and Sanjay Krishna.
Shanmuga Sundaram is the cinematographer of ‘Shaitan’, with editing by Shravan Katikaneni and production design by Rajkumar Murugesan. Sriram Muddury composed the music of ‘Shaitan’.
