Arjun Kohli has joined Viacom18 Sports as Director of Sales – TV & Digital (JioCinema), according to his LinkedIn post. In his new role, he will be an integral part of the ad sales team.
Kohli previously worked at Disney Star as an Account Director for Star Sports Network. He was instrumental in managing corporate sponsorships for the Indian Premier League (IPL), BCCI, ICC, New Zealand Cricket Board, South Africa Cricket Board, and the Asian Cricket Council during his time there.
Kohli oversaw various domestic leagues such as the Indian Super League, Badminton Premier League, and Pro Kabaddi League during his nine-year tenure at Disney Star.
He also managed international premium sports events such as the English Premier League, F1, the French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open.
Prior to joining Disney Star, Kohli was a Manager (Group Head) at Times Television Network, where he was instrumental in the launch of Romedy Now.
Kohli has held several managerial positions in prestigious organizations such as Ten Sports Network, Radio Mirchi, and Deutsche Bank.
