India Today has announced the appointment of Dipika Kapoor as its new General Manager – Marketing. Kapoor shared the news on her LinkedIn profile, expressing enthusiasm for her new role at one of India’s leading media networks.
In her new position, Kapoor will play a key role in driving integrated marketing and audience engagement strategies to strengthen India Today’s brand presence across platforms. Her focus will include supporting the network’s ongoing digital transformation and content-led growth initiatives as it continues to expand its footprint in the rapidly evolving media ecosystem.
Before joining India Today, Kapoor spent seven years at Network18 Media & Investments Limited, where she held multiple senior marketing roles, most recently serving as General Manager. During her tenure, she led several strategic initiatives across performance marketing, reader revenue, campaign management, and marketing analytics, along with driving new product launches and managing key client relationships.
With over a decade of experience in both digital and traditional media, Kapoor brings a rich mix of marketing, strategy, and brand management expertise spanning sectors such as print and online media, rural and vernacular markets, BFSI, e-commerce, and education.
Prior to Network18, she also held leadership roles at LocoVida, Amar Ujala Publications Ltd., and Business Standard, where she worked on brand-building initiatives and media partnerships. Kapoor began her career in sales and digital advertising, gaining early insights into content marketing and client engagement strategies that have shaped her career trajectory.
