Times Music has announced the appointment of Dextryl Ferrao as Head – Catalogue Exploitation and Marketing, further reinforcing its strategic focus on unlocking greater local and global growth opportunities.
In an official note shared by Times Music, the company highlighted that Dextryl’s entry marks a significant step in driving deeper monetization and marketing of its vast and diverse music catalogue. A veteran of the music industry, Dextryl brings over 25 years of experience from global music powerhouses like Sony Music Entertainment and Universal Music, and is known for his ability to merge creative sensibilities with strategic execution.
In his new role, Dextryl will be at the helm of key initiatives around catalogue monetization, international collaborations, artist services, and content marketing. He will oversee Times Music’s extensive and iconic catalogue, which includes a wide variety of genres such as Spiritual, Pop, Hindi, and Punjabi, as well as recently acquired regional catalogues like ARC Musicq and Symphony Recording Co.
Importantly, Dextryl will also collaborate closely with Primary Wave, a globally renowned music publishing company with whom Times Music has a strategic partnership in India. His leadership is expected to accelerate the label’s global expansion while creating fresh monetization avenues for its legacy and contemporary catalogue.

Rahman. His nuanced understanding of both Indian and international markets positions him well to guide Times Music’s next phase of growth and relevance in the rapidly evolving music ecosystem.
