The multinational media and digital marketing communications company Dentsu International has confirmed that Ashish Bhasin, CEO Dentsu APAC CEO & Chairman, has decided to quit his post.
According to the Economic Times, an internal communication, global CEO, Wendy Clark told employees that the agency will announce a successor in “due course”.
At present, APAC CFO, COO along Clark’s office will manage the APAC region.
“We appreciate Ashish’s 13 years of service and will announce a successor in due course. In the interim, I will work closely with Simon Jones, CFO, Dentsu Asia Pacific and Belli Mathanda. COO, Dentsu Asia Pacific with the support of the APAC executive team,” Clark added.
APAC is a critical operation for the Japanese giant and it accounts for over 10000 employees in the region.
Bhasin is an industry veteran with over 33 years of rich experience as an advertising and media professional.
He joined Aegis Media in June 2008 and was tasked with launching the business in the market.
He was promoted to CEO, Dentsu Asia Pacific in September 2019.
