Actors Cooper Koch and Sarah Bolger have joined the cast of the upcoming drama film ‘Fog City’. Koch is known for his role in ‘Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story’, while Bolger recently appeared in ‘The Westies’.
According to a PTI report from Los Angeles today,the film is directed by Dan Pritzker and also stars Carla Gugino and Miranda Otto in important roles.’Fog City‘ is set in San Francisco during the 1930s, when the famous Golden Gate Bridge was under construction.
The story is inspired by real events but also includes fictional characters to create an emotional drama.Carla Gugino plays Inez Burns, a woman who secretly helps women get abortions at a time when it was illegal.
Cooper Koch plays police inspector Steven Walsh, while Sarah Bolger plays Liza Orr, a young woman who moves to San Francisco after losing her home during the Dust Bowl. Miranda Otto plays a wealthy socialite named Dorothy Hargrove.
As the lives of these characters become connected, the film explores the challenges people faced during the Great Depression, including poverty, difficult choices and social inequality. ‘Fog City’ aims to tell a powerful human story while bringing an important period of American history to the screen.
