Comic Con India, the country’s biggest pop culture celebration, is gearing up for its 13th edition with the 2025-26 season set to kick off in Hyderabad from October 31 to November 2.
The three-day event will be held at HITEX Exhibition Centre and promises an unmatched mix of global celebrity appearances, epic cosplay competitions, exclusive merchandise launches, Q&A panels, esports battles, and immersive fan zones. Tickets are now available exclusively on the District by Zomato app.
According to a press release, the organisers said Hyderabad was chosen as the launchpad for the season given its vibrant and growing pop culture community. Last year’s Hyderabad Comic Con drew over 40,000 attendees, making it one of the most successful editions in the event’s history. Fans this year can expect to meet international guests, enjoy live music and stand-up performances, explore anime showcases, and engage in interactive sessions with top creators.
“We are bringing the best line-up of celebrities and guests to each city, tailored to match the unique interests and passions of their own,” said Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and MD, NODWIN Gaming. “From global pop culture icons to India’s most passionate cosplay community, Comic Con India 2025-2026 will truly be a celebration of everything that falls under the pop culture they love.”
Comic Con India CEO Shefali Johnson added, “Hyderabad has rapidly evolved into one of India’s most dynamic cultural and creative hubs. The city’s booming tech industry and young, enthusiastic fanbase make it the perfect starting point for our biggest season yet.”
Over the years, Comic Con India has hosted some of the biggest names from Marvel, DC, anime, and Hollywood. With the 2025-26 season promising a bigger line-up, more immersive experiences, and a deeper connection with fans, the Hyderabad edition is shaping up to be the “best weekend of the year” for pop culture lovers.
