Colors Odia today announced the launch of its new show ‘Raajnandini’. In its endeavor to entertain audiences with compelling stories, the new dubbed show will focus on women-centric drama.
As per the company’s press release, “Raajnandini is the story of two daughters-in-law, Meera and Ahalya. Ahalya is the perfect daughter-in-law, while Meera is just the opposite. But what happens when it all falls on Meera to save the house from ruin, especially when no one trusts her? The show focus on her life and her struggles.
Srija Shahin, Programming head, Colors Odia, said, “At COLORS Odia we endeavor to showcase the content that is engaging and thought-provoking. This story focuses on the relationship between two daughters-in-law. We are planning to get the best shows from our network in local language for our audiences and we are confident that our audience will love this story.”
The dubbed content has become very popular during the lockdown especially because of production of fresh content was a challenge. With very distinctive content across genres, the viewership for Colors Odia has increased.
The channel recently aired the Rathyatra festivals for people to sit at home and have the same flavor. Some of the important rituals like Bahuda Yatra, Suna Besha, and Niladri Bije were also aired on the channel.
The show will air every day at 6 pm and 10 pm on Colors Odia.
