COLORS is set to introduce a new chapter of its show ‘Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki’, featuring Tanvi Dogra and Namik Paul in the lead roles. The new chapter will premiere on October 27 and air daily at 7:30 PM on COLORS and JioHotstar.
According to a press release issued by COLORS today, Tanvi Dogra will play Mannat Juneja, while Namik Paul will portray Kabir Oberoi. The story follows two independent individuals with different views on food and life, whose professional rivalry gradually develops into a personal connection.
Mannat comes from a middle-class Punjabi family and runs her family’s restaurant, Viraat Da Dhaba. Inherited from her father, Surinder, the dhaba holds special importance for her as it represents her family’s memories and dreams. Mannat believes that food is about authenticity, love and tradition.
Kabir, meanwhile, owns an upscale fine-dining restaurant called Mezbaani. Adopted into a wealthy family, he has built his life around ambition, discipline and perfection. However, he carries a complicated past and feels guilty about a tragedy that affected Mannat’s family.
As Mannat’s traditional approach to food clashes with Kabir’s focus on innovation and precision, their rivalry leads to arguments and unexpected chemistry. However, the secrets and guilt they carry could complicate their growing relationship.
The show also features Kishori Shahane as Sarika Oberoi and Supriya Shukla as Jolly Juneja. The new chapter is produced by Mukta Dhond’s Malhar Productions.
Speaking about her role, Tanvi Dogra said she feels honoured to take on the title role of a show that has already received love from viewers. She acknowledged the contributions of former lead actors Ayesha Singh and Adnan Khan and said she hopes to make the new chapter memorable for audiences.
Namik Paul also praised Ayesha Singh and Adnan Khan for building the foundation of the show. He said he hopes to take the story forward while giving viewers new reasons to connect with the characters. The new chapter of ‘Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki’ will premiere on October 27 and air daily at 7:30 PM on COLORS and JioHotstar.
