COLORS is bringing back its relationship reality show ‘Dhamaal with Pati Patni Aur Panga Jodiyon Ka Reality Check’ for its second season. Hosted by Sonali Bendre Behl and Munawar Faruqui, the show will feature seven celebrity couples and explore the fun, challenges and different sides of married life.
According to a COLORS press release from Mumbai today, the second season will premiere on October 10, and air every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM on COLORS and JioHotstar. Produced by Story Weavers Collective, the show will feature fun, banter, surprises and revelations as the couples put their relationships to the test.
Sonali Bendre Behl and Munawar Faruqui will return as hosts. Sonali will bring her charm, while Munawar will add his humour and quick wit as they interact with the couples and explore their personalities, habits and relationship dynamics beyond their public image.
The seven celebrity couples participating in the show are Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar, Arjun Bijlani and Neha Swami Bijlani, Shabir Ahluwalia and Kanchi Kaul, Deepika Singh and Rohit Raj Goyal, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya, Manoj Tiwari and Surabhi Tiwari, and Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi.
Each couple will bring a different dynamic to the show. Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar will bring their share of playful moments, with Disha keeping an eye on Rahul’s unfiltered comments. Arjun Bijlani and Neha Swami Bijlani will add humour through their disagreements, with Arjun often pointing out faults and telling Neha how things should be done. Shabir Ahluwalia and Kanchi Kaul will bring the confidence of a power couple, while Deepika Singh and Rohit Raj Goyal have a relationship dynamic in which Deepika often leaves Rohit with little opportunity to speak.
Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya, who have recently embraced parenthood, will bring their experiences as new parents to the show. Manoj Tiwari and Surabhi Tiwari will offer another perspective on married life, with Manoj carefully navigating his wife’s reactions. Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi, who have been married for 35 years, will bring their long experience together, with Parmeet known for listening when Archana speaks.
Speaking about the show, Alok Jain, Head of Hindi and English Entertainment (Streaming, TV and Studios) at JioStar, said the first season received a strong response because of its honest and relatable portrayal of relationships. He added that the second season will build on that success with new dynamics, fresh stories and deeper relationship narratives while retaining the authenticity that connected with audiences. He also highlighted the importance of sponsors in helping the show grow across television and digital platforms.
Sonali Bendre Behl said she enjoyed hosting the first season more than she had expected. She shared that getting to know the couples beyond their celebrity image, including their habits, disagreements and affectionate moments, made the experience entertaining and relatable. She also said that working with Munawar made the experience more enjoyable and expressed excitement about returning for the second season.
Munawar Faruqui said the first season was special because it marked his entry into reality show hosting. He expressed gratitude for the love and recognition the show brought him and said he was excited to return for the second season. He also praised his working relationship with Sonali and said he looked forward to the humour and unexpected moments the seven couples would bring to the show.
The second season is co-presented by Nivea Body Milk and ORN. com, with Envy Perfume as the fragrance partner and Silver Coin Chakki Fresh Atta as the cooking partner.
