CNBC-TV18, committed to promoting gender parity and empowering women leaders, celebrated another milestone with the ‘Future. Female. Forward Season 2: The Women’s Collective – Leadership Circle – Bengaluru edition’, presented by HSBC India.
Held on May 31, 2024, at the Conrad, Bengaluru, this event follows the successful launch in New Delhi and the Leadership Circle in Mumbai, furthering the mission to make gender parity a reality, the news channel said in a press statement.
The event, themed ‘Road Less Travelled’, showcased inspiring stories from female entrepreneurs and leaders who have made significant impacts across various industries.
The evening commenced with an opening note by Shereen Bhan, Managing Editor, CNBC-TV18, who emphasized the importance of celebrating success, recognizing achievements, and creating platforms for important conversations.
Shereen Bhan highlighted the consistency of energy and purpose in bringing women together to share their stories, aiming to inspire future generations.
Hitendra Dave, CEO of HSBC India, discussed the emotional commitment of HSBC India and CNBC-TV18 in championing gender parity and equality of opportunity.
Panel 1: Road Less Travelled, speakers Anisha Padukone, CEO, The Live Love Laugh Foundation; Dr. Meeran Borwankar, Retd. IPS Officer highlights stressed the need for more women in service, aiming for at least 33 percent representation to create a more supportive environment for female victims.

Panel 3: The Founders Forum; Dream Catchers speakers Sahar Mansoor, Founder & CEO, Bare Necessities; Kavita Shenoy, Founder & CEO, Voiro; Megha Asher, Co-Founder & COO, Juicy Chemistry; Malini Adapureddy, Founder & CEO, Deconstruct; Lathika Pai, Country Head – Venture Capital and Private Equity Partnerships, Microsoft, highlights the importance of supporting women founders, especially during the critical early stages of their entrepreneurial journey.
The event concluded with a musical performance by the talented singer and musician, Vidya Shah, adding a harmonious end to a day of inspiring and impactful discussions.
