The much-anticipated Chiyaan Vikram starrer ‘Thangalaan’ is gearing up for its North India release with a Hindi version hitting theatres on August 30, as announced by the makers on Saturday.
Directed by renowned filmmaker Pa Ranjith, the Tamil drama is set in the 19th century against the backdrop of the Kolar gold mines in Karnataka.
Originally released worldwide on August 15 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, the film has generated significant buzz. The production house, Studio Green, shared the exciting news on Instagram with a poster of Vikram and the announcement of the Hindi release, stating, “North India Release 30th August.”
‘Thangalaan’ has been praised for its intense narrative, and with its release now expanding into the Hindi market, it is expected to attract a broader audience across the country.
