The countdown has officially begun for the much-awaited ‘Bigg Boss 19’, with Salman Khan returning as host to steer the drama, politics and power games. Premiering on August 24, the show this year will take an all-new route, turning the Bigg Boss house into a parliament — in line with its fresh theme, ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar’.
According to a UNI report, the recently released trailer has already stirred excitement among fans. It opens with Salman dressed as a politician, making a grand entry into a parliament-like set, greeting in his signature quirky namaskar style. In the promo, he declares this season marks a shift ‘from chaos to democrazy’, promising that every decision, big or small, will now rest in the hands of the housemates themselves.
Salman, in his trademark style, further teased the challenges awaiting contestants, warning them to be prepared for anjam(consequences) and aavam (public scrutiny). “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar ka matlab hai power unke haath mein, aur jab power milti hai, toh asli chehre saamne aate hain… Har decision ke saath ek consequence bhi aata hai,” he said, hinting at the high-stakes drama viewers can expect.
Streaming first on JioCinema at 9pm, followed by a delayed telecast on COLORS TV at 10.30 pm, ‘Bigg Boss 19’ will also offer a 24-hour unfiltered live feed on JioCinema for die-hard fans. The new format will allow contestants to collectively govern the house, making rules, taking decisions, and facing the outcomes in real time.
