Asianet is all set to unveil the seventh season of ‘Bigg Boss Malayalam’, promising viewers an exciting mix of drama, strategy, and entertainment. The new season will premiere on August 3 at 7pm, with Malayalam superstar Mohanlal returning as the show’s iconic host.
Titled under the fresh tagline ‘Ezhinte Pani’, which translates to ‘Game of the Mind’, season 7 introduces a sharper, more dynamic format. According to the channel, the tagline hints at a strategic shift — placing greater emphasis on audience opinion, mind games, and unpredictable challenges that will test the mental grit and emotional strength of contestants.
The upcoming season is set to begin with a grand launch episode where Mohanlal will introduce a new lineup of housemates. These contestants, from various walks of life, are expected to bring a diverse mix of perspectives, personalities, and storylines to the Bigg Boss house. With tougher tasks and higher stakes, the makers promise a level of competition viewers haven’t seen before.
As part of its scale-up this year, ‘Bigg Boss Malayalam’ has moved into Asianet’s own custom-built set, touted as the most lavish Bigg Boss house to date. Designed to impress, the expansive house features a sprawling lawn, an upgraded dining space, a fully-equipped kitchen, plush bedrooms, a luxe living room and an all-new, mystifying confession room — all tailored to amplify drama and deliver a cinematic viewing experience.
Asianet emphasized that Season 7 will break away from familiar formats and push contestants out of their comfort zones.
Season 7 of ‘Bigg Boss Malayalam’ will be telecast Monday to Friday at 9.30 pm, while the weekend episodes will air at 9 pm, featuring special segments with Mohanlal. Viewers can also tune into JioHotstar for 24×7 live streaming, ensuring they don’t miss a moment of the action.
