‘Bigg Boss Bangla’ has returned after nearly 10 years, with former India captain Sourav Ganguly as the host. The third season premiered yesterday on August 30.
According to an ANI report from Mumbai today, the new season features 15 contestants from different fields, including acting, music, sports, business and social media.
Actor Monami Ghosh was the first contestant to enter the house, followed by Bharat Kaul, singer Durnibar Saha, Sohini Pal and YouTuber Niranjan Mondal.
The other contestants include actors Nandini Roy, Anindya Sengupta, Srijla Guha and Sonamoni Saha, former footballer Dipendu Biswas, entrepreneur Tanushree Roy Das and social media personalities Sayak, Jayita and Jhilam Gupta. British actor Alexandra Taylor is also part of the season.
The first two seasons of ‘Bigg Boss Bangla ‘aired in 2013 and 2016. The first season was hosted by actor Mithun Chakraborty, while actor Jeet hosted the second season.
With Sourav Ganguly as the host, the latest season brings together contestants from different backgrounds as ‘Bigg Boss Bangla’ makes its return to television.
