The third edition of the BIG Marathi Entertainment Awards, hosted by BIG FM, dazzled audiences as it recognized and celebrated the outstanding contributions of Marathi television personalities and creators on April 25.

BIG FM, a leading radio network in India, pulled out all the stops for the BIG Marathi Entertainment Awards 2024, held at Marigold Banquets and Convention, Pune.

The star-studded event, hosted by BIG FM RJs RJ Addy and RJ Chetana, was a testament to the immense talent and creativity prevalent in the Marathi entertainment industry.

The evening was filled with excitement and camaraderie, with special awards recognizing the exceptional achievements of various individuals. Ashok Saraf was honored with the Powerhouse of Entertainment award, while Varsha Usgaonkar received the Evergreen Performer award for her timeless elegance. Actor Siddharth Chandekar was recognized as the Performer of the Year, adding another feather to his cap.

The ceremony also saw the announcement of the Blockbuster of the Year award, bestowed upon the acclaimed film “Bai Pan Bhari Deva,” along with the BIG Most Memorable Voice award presented to Vaishali Samant.

Notable winners in acting categories included Aishwarya Shete for the BIG Best Female Character award and a tie between Ajinkya Raut and Indraneil Kamat for the BIG Best Male Character award. Vishaka Subhedar and Dipti Ketkar were honored as the BIG Best Female Villain, while Sunil Tawde and Piyush Ranade received the BIG Best Male Villain accolade.

The event also celebrated the chemistry between actors, with Jui Gadkari and Amit Bhanushali winning the BIG Best Jodi award. Other winners included Purneima Dey and Yogesh Kelkar for BIG Supporting Characters Female and Male respectively, and the title track of “Tuj Maj Sapan…Premach Tufaan” for the BIG Best Title Song.

In addition, the BIG Best Non-Fiction show was awarded to “Sur Nava Dhyas Nava,” while the heartwarming family drama “Tharala Tar Mag!” swept the categories for BIG Best Family and BIG Best Serial.

The BIG Marathi Entertainment Awards 2024, powered by Lokmanya Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited and in association with Krsnaa Diagnostics as Diagnostics Partner, will be telecasted on May 12th, 2024, on Zee 24 Taas.
