BIG FM, one of India’s leading radio networks, successfully hosted the third edition of the BIG IMPACT AWARDS Kolkata, honouring outstanding individuals and businesses whose work has created transformative impact across industries.
Held at the luxurious Vivanta, the awards ceremony became a grand celebration of Kolkata’s entrepreneurial spirit, disruptive thinking, and social commitment.
As highlighted in a press release issued by BIG FM, this year’s edition of the awards paid tribute to businesses and leaders who have driven change, uplifted communities, and redefined their sectors with passion and innovation. Staying true to its philosophy of ‘Recognizing Unconventional Excellence’, the BIG Impact Awards shined a spotlight on those who embody leadership, creativity, and purpose.
Renowned Bengali actor Abir Chatterjee joined the evening as a special guest, adding star power to a gathering filled with dignitaries and influencers from diverse domains. The awards night began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing progress and fresh beginnings. What followed was a series of heartfelt recognitions as industry stalwarts stepped forward to honour the winners with the prestigious BIG Impact Trophy — a symbol of their unwavering dedication to excellence.
The event saw the presence of several celebrated personalities including Sudipa Chatterjee, Churni Ganguly, Rooqma Roy, Shruti Das, Souraseni Maitra, Basabdatta Kar, music composer Indradeep Dasgupta, and noted chef Rongon Neogi. Dignitaries Debashis Kumar (MLA & Mayor-in-Council) and Partha Bhowmik (MP) also graced the occasion, lending their support to the city’s growing ecosystem of bold and visionary changemakers.

The awards recognised 23 remarkable individuals and organisations under categories such as Strategic Marketing, Literary Publishing, Carbon Emission Innovation, Healthcare, Food & Hospitality, Real Estate, Social Entrepreneurship, and more. Notable awardees included Tapan Pattanayak, B P Poddar Hospital, Keya Biswas, Arindam Mukherjee, Dr. Narayan Banerjee, and JIS University, among others.
