BGMI: Naye Khiladi grand finals set

NODWIN Gaming has announced the 16 teams that have qualified for the Grand Finals of ‘BGMI: Naye Khiladi’ powered by KRAFTON India Esports.

The grassroots Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) tournament aims to discover and promote India’s next generation of esports talent.

According to a NODWIN Gaming press release today,more than 8,000 players registered for the tournament through BGMI’s in-game qualification system. After several rounds of competition, the field has been narrowed down to the top 16 teams, which will compete in the Grand Finals from July 24 to 26, 2026.

The finalists are ESPORT SOCIAL, Troy Tamilan Esports, HEXVORA, Team Free Agents, 7Gods Esports, Reignite Esports, X4RCE, Zero Ark Official, BLD Esports, Aura X Esports, DCxSCR Esports, K9Esports, Thunder Gods Esports, Team ACS, Santa Godsent and Team ERA ESPORTS.

The tournament began with the top 1,024 teams advancing from the in-game qualifiers to Round 1, where they were divided into 64 groups. The competition was then reduced to 256 teams in Round 2 before the top 32 reached the semifinals. After four days of semifinal matches, the best 16 teams secured their place in the Grand Finals.

The Grand Finals will feature 18 matches over three days, with six matches played each day across the maps Rondo, Erangel and Miramar. Teams will earn points based on their match placements and eliminations, and the team finishing at the top of the overall leaderboard will become the inaugural ‘BGMI: Naye Khiladi’ champion. The tournament offers a total prize pool of Rs 10 lakh.

All Grand Finals matches will be streamed live on NODWIN Gaming’s YouTube and KICK channels. Commenting on the tournament, Gautam Virk, Co-Founder and CEO of NODWIN Gaming, said the competition was launched to give aspiring BGMI players a platform to showcase their skills and begin their journey in professional esports.

He said the strong response from the community and the high level of competition reflect the depth of grassroots esports talent in India. He added that the 16 finalists have earned their place through consistent performances and will now compete to become the first-ever ‘BGMI: Naye Khiladi’ champions.

Built around the theme ‘#AbTeriBaari’, the tournament is aimed at creating opportunities for emerging BGMI players while strengthening India’s grassroots esports ecosystem.
