Advertising agency BBH India has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Deb Dutta as Executive Director and Head of Office, Mumbai. Based in Mumbai, Dutta will report to Himanshu Saxena, Managing Director of BBH India and President (North & East) at Saatchi & Saatchi India and Propagate India.
According to a BBH India press release, the appointment is part of the agency’s strategy to accelerate business growth, deepen client relationships and further strengthen its culture of creative excellence, effectiveness and business transformation. In his new role, Dutta will work closely with the agency’s leadership team to drive growth initiatives and expand BBH India’s presence in one of the country’s most competitive advertising markets.
Dutta brings more than two decades of experience across agency leadership, brand management, strategy and business transformation. He joins BBH India from McCann Worldgroup, where he served as Head of McCann Worldgroup Mumbai. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions across multiple markets, including RAPP Malaysia, TBWA Indonesia, and Publicis Malaysia and Indonesia.
One of his notable achievements came during his tenure at RAPP Malaysia, where he built a full-stack creative business integrating content, eCRM, personalisation, digital, social media and technology-led solutions powered by data and analytics. He was also previously associated with Publicis Groupe India in a leadership role.
