Prime Video and T-Series have released ‘Balam Subedaar’, the latest official song from the upcoming Prime Original film Subedaar, offering audiences a glimpse into the emotional world of the film’s central characters.
The song, featuring Anil Kapoor as Subedaar Arjun Maurya and Khushboo Sundar as Sudha, was unveiled today, highlighting the relationship between the lead characters and adding emotional depth to the narrative.
According to a Prime Video press note, the refreshed version of the iconic track brings the bond between Arjun Maurya and his wife Sudha to the forefront, capturing warmth, nostalgia and emotional connection. The song presents Sudha’s pride in her husband while portraying the softer, personal side of a man known for his authority in uniform.
The visuals explore the couple’s effortless chemistry and emotional connection, blending heartfelt moments with a sense of nostalgia. The track adds a new dimension to Arjun Maurya’s character, presenting him as someone who commands respect professionally while receiving quiet devotion at home.
Composed by Rutvik Talashilkar, ‘Balam Subedaar’ is a recreated version featuring vocals by GD Kaur. The original composition was created by Raj Mawar for Real Music Production, while the recreated lyrics are penned by Youngveer. The music has been supervised by Akashdeep Sengupta.
Directed by Suresh Triveni, the film is produced by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor and Suresh Triveni. The film features Anil Kapoor and Radhikka Madan in lead roles, alongside Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Rawal, Faisal Malik, Mona Singh and Khushboo Sundar in pivotal roles.
‘Subedaar’ is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video India in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu across India and in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
