Pocket FM has appointed Abhilash Padival as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), as the audio series platform strengthens its leadership team to support its global expansion and long-term growth plans.
According to a Pocket FM press release, Padival will lead the company’s global finance operations, overseeing financial strategy, capital allocation, business planning, investor relations, compliance and corporate governance.
He will also help strengthen Pocket FM’s financial foundation as the company expands internationally and increases investments in AI-powered storytelling and technology.
Padival joins Pocket FM from Bank of America, where he spent more than seven years, most recently leading the Consumer Internet Investment Banking practice.
During his tenure, he advised several Indian start-ups on initial public offerings (IPOs), private fundraising and mergers and acquisitions. He has also held leadership roles at Quess Corp, Altisource, Avendus Capital and Cyient, bringing nearly two decades of experience in finance, corporate strategy and business transformation.
Commenting on the appointment, Pocket FM Co-founder and CEO Rohan Nayak said Padival’s expertise in investment banking, strategic planning and business operations will help the company strengthen its financial organisation and support its next phase of global growth.
Padival said he looks forward to working with the leadership team to build a world-class finance function and create long-term value for creators, audiences, employees and shareholders.
