Amitabh Bachchan has featured in a new rap promo for ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, bringing the show’s ‘Sochna Padega’ theme to life in a fresh avatar.
Sony Entertainment Television (SET) has launched the rap anthem as part of the latest season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, which premiered on August 10 on SET and Sony LIV.
According ro a SET press release from Mumbai today, in the promo, Amitabh Bachchan appears in a stylish pop-culture avatar, wearing a white fur coat, oversized dark sunglasses, layered gold chains and a geometric hoodie. He is seen walking through illuminated corridors before taking his place on a chandelier-lit throne.
The actor combines his iconic baritone with a contemporary beat and delivers the line, ‘Yeh KBC hai, yahan sochna padega pyaro.’, giving the show’s theme a musical and entertaining treatment.
The ‘Sochna Padega’ campaign focuses on the idea of applied intelligence. The campaign highlights that while facts and information are easily available today, the real strength lies in knowing how to use that knowledge and think quickly when faced with a situation.
Through the campaign, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ encourages audiences to trust their knowledge, think on their feet, make confident decisions and take advantage of opportunities.
The new rap promo gives the season’s core message a contemporary touch while showcasing Amitabh Bachchan in a different and energetic avatar.
