Amazon MX Player, Amazon’s free video streaming service, has announced ‘Bharat Ke Super Founders’, an entrepreneurial reality series that aims to redefine the startup entertainment format in India.
Hosted and mentored by actor Suniel Shetty, the show brings together founders from across the country to pitch their ideas to a panel of leading business tycoons, who—along with Recur Club—have committed a funding pool of Rs.100 crore. This marks the largest investment commitment showcased on an Indian entertainment platform.
According to an Amazon MX Player press release, the series has been designed to focus on authenticity and transparency, ensuring that each pitch is backed by verified data and core business fundamentals. The format aims to move beyond dramatization, creating an environment where deals reflect genuine investment intent and founders receive clear accountability throughout the process. Staying true to its name, the show celebrates the diversity, ambition, and resilience of Bharat’s entrepreneurial spirit, spotlighting founders whose ideas have the potential for real-world impact.
The show features an influential panel of industry leaders, including Dr. A. Velumani of Thyrocare, Nitish Mittersain of Nazara Technologies, Dr. Aarti Gupta of Anikarth Ventures, Shanti Mohan of LVX, Aditya Singh of All In Capital, and Ankur Mittal of Physis Capital and Inflection Point Ventures. A rotating roster of business personalities will join them through the season. Eklavya Gupta from Recur Club will also be part of the panel, bringing in Recur’s AI Native debt infrastructure as part of the ₹100 crore commitment—an approach that mirrors how modern startups combine equity for direction with debt for scale.
Amogh Dusad, Director and Head of Content at Amazon MX Player, said the show sets a new benchmark for real, verified investment-based programming. He noted that the series aims to “democratise opportunities for founders across Bharat and spotlight ideas that truly deserve to scale.” Aruna Daryanani, Director at Amazon MX Player, added that the platform’s vision is to champion entrepreneurs who represent India’s diversity and ambition, saying the Rs.100 crore commitment positions the show as a genuine catalyst for high-potential startups.
Suniel Shetty, who will host and mentor participants, called entrepreneurship the “heartbeat of New India,” emphasising that every founder brings a story worth telling. Panelist Dr. A. Velumani highlighted India’s need for millions of successful entrepreneurs and described the show as a platform that offers both attention and meaningful guidance, helping founders execute and scale responsibly.
‘Bharat Ke Super Founders’ will soon stream for free on Amazon MX Player across the MX Player app, Amazon shopping app, Prime Video, Fire TV, and Airtel Xstream.
