The much-anticipated film starring Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone has finally got its official title. Directed by Atlee, the project—earlier referred to as ‘AA22xA6’—has now been named ‘Raaka’, with the makers unveiling a striking first poster on the occasion of Allu Arjun’s 44th birthday.
According to an ANI report, the title announcement was shared on social media as a special birthday surprise for fans, instantly generating excitement around the project. The reveal not only confirmed the film’s name but also gave audiences a glimpse into its intense visual tone through the newly released poster.
In the poster, Allu Arjun appears in a bold and unconventional look, sporting a bald head with part of his face covered in thick fur. A tusk-like detail adds a raw, almost primal edge to the character, while his piercing eyes lend an air of mystery and power. The makers accompanied the reveal with the line, “Prepare yourself for a vision beyond limits,” hinting at an ambitious cinematic experience.
‘Raaka’ marks the first collaboration between Allu Arjun and Atlee, a pairing that has already created strong buzz within the industry. With Deepika Padukone also on board, the film brings together a high-profile cast, though further details about the storyline and characters remain under wraps.
Allu Arjun was last seen in ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, directed by Sukumar, which emerged as a major box office success following its release in 2024. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone’s recent outing ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ also performed strongly in theatres, adding to the anticipation surrounding ‘Raaka’.
With its intriguing first look and powerful team, ‘Raaka’ is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about upcoming projects, as fans eagerly await more updates from the makers.
