Bharti Airtel, one of India’s leading telecommunications companies, has reported a major milestone in its battle against spam calls. The company’s Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered solution has successfully flagged and blocked over 8 billion spam calls in just 2.5 months since its rollout.
This achievement highlights Airtel’s commitment to enhancing user experience by addressing the persistent issue of spam and fraudulent calls that plague mobile users across the country, The Hindu reported.
Airtel’s AI solution, integrated into its telecommunications infrastructure, uses advanced algorithms to detect and block spam calls in real-time. By analyzing call patterns, behavior, and other data points, the system identifies potential spam or fraudulent numbers and prevents them from reaching Airtel subscribers.
