Bharti Airtel has announced a revision of its postpaid tariffs, increasing prices by Rs 50 across its existing plan slabs while introducing one complimentary international roaming trip every year for customers. The revised plans will be effective from October 8, 2026.
According to the company’s latest offering, the revised postpaid plans will start at Rs 499 per month for individual users, compared with Rs 449 earlier, translating into an increase of around 11 per cent. The two-SIM family plan will now cost Rs 749 per month, up from Rs 699, while the three-SIM plan will increase to Rs 1,049 from Rs 999.
For four-SIM family plans, the monthly rental will rise from Rs 1,199 to Rs 1,249 and from Rs 1,399 to Rs 1,449, depending on the plan. The five-SIM family plan will be priced at Rs 1,799, compared with Rs 1,749 earlier. While the absolute increase remains uniform at Rs 50 across the slabs, the percentage impact is higher on the lower-priced plans.
Alongside the tariff revision, Airtel has introduced one complimentary international roaming trip per SIM every year across its new postpaid plans. The five-day roaming pack will include 5GB of data, 60 minutes of calls, 25 outgoing SMS and free incoming SMS.
Customers will be able to activate the complimentary roaming pack whenever they choose instead of having it activated automatically. On family plans, every member included in the plan will be eligible for one free international roaming trip annually.
The revised postpaid plans will continue to offer Airtel’s existing benefits, including unlimited data and calling, Fast Lane technology and network-level protection against spam and fraudulent links. Depending on the selected plan, customers will also receive subscriptions to services such as Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Xstream Play Premium, Google One, Apple Music, Apple iCloud+ and Netflix.
Commenting on the revised plans, Amit Tripathi, Director – Market Operations, Bharti Airtel, said postpaid is focused on delivering a “best-in-class experience” and added that the company is looking to provide customers with more reasons to choose Airtel Postpaid.
The new plans will be available to both new and existing Airtel customers from October 8. Existing prepaid and postpaid users can upgrade through the Airtel App or Airtel stores, while customers using other telecom operators can switch to Airtel Postpaid.
Airtel’s stock traded a little over 1 per cent higher at Rs 1,830 on the National Stock Exchange during the final hour of trading on Wednesday.
