Apple TV’s new action comedy film ‘Mayday’ is set to premiere on September 4. Starring Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh, the film combines action, comedy and elements of a spy thriller.
According to an Apple TV press release, the story follows Lieutenant Troy ‘Assassin’ Kelly, played by Ryan Reynolds, a U.S. Navy pilot who is sent on a secret mission into Russian territory during the Cold War.
However, the mission goes wrong and Troy becomes stranded behind enemy lines.
