ACT Fibernet to offer Prime Lite to consumers as part of pact

ACT Fibernet, one of India’s leading wired internet service providers (ISP), has announced a strategic collaboration with Amazon Prime to roll out new Prime Lite bundled plans for the users of the ISP.

Designed to deliver a mix of high-speed internet and entertainment, shopping and shipping perks, this offering is set to enhance the everyday digital experience for ACT’s customers across 13 cities in India, an official statement from ACT Fibernet stated yesterday.

The newly introduced Prime Lite plans will provide subscribers unlimited access to Amazon Prime Video’s vast library of award-winning Originals, blockbuster films, global series and TV shows, which can be viewed in HD on a single device. Additionally, Prime members will continue to enjoy free unlimited same-day/next-day delivery, early access to exclusive shopping deals, and special privileges during flagship Amazon events like Prime Day and the Great Indian Festival.

These Prime Lite benefits are now available to all new and existing ACT Fibernet subscribers who opt for eligible plans with a minimum duration of six months. With this bundled approach, customers will enjoy continuous access to Prime Lite for as long as they remain subscribed to a qualifying ACT plan, the ISP said.

Speaking on the partnership, Naveen Nahar, Vice President and Head of Brands, Content and Partnerships at ACT Fibernet, said, “Our brand promise is simple: Feel the Advantage. It’s about going beyond the fast internet to deliver real, everyday value to our customers. With the launch of Amazon Prime Lite on our platform, we’re giving our users the best of entertainment, shopping, and convenience — all in one seamless experience.

“Whether it’s world-class shows, free express deliveries, or early access to deals, this partnership ensures our customers don’t just stay connected, they stay ahead.”

Echoing the excitement, Shilangi Mukherji, Director and Head of SVOD Business at Prime Video India, said, “At Prime Video, we remain committed to offering easy and convenient access to our much-loved Originals, movies, series, and more to customers across India. This strategic collaboration with ACT Fibernet not only simplifies access to Prime Video‘s extensive content selection but also delivers other shopping and shipping benefits of Prime Lite and much more.”

The bundled plans have been priced based on city-wise markets. Starting rates for Prime Lite ACT plans are as follows: Delhi: Rs.700; Jaipur, Lucknow, Ahmedabad: Rs.699; Hyderabad: Rs.798; Andhra Pradesh:Rs.778; Pune: Rs.998; Hosur, Tumkur: Rs.999; Tamil Nadu: Rs.749; Bangalore: Rs.949; Warangal: Rs.789 and Ghaziabad: Rs.700.
