Delving into the heart of India’s 18th General Election, ABP Network‘s ‘Ideas of India’ Summit 3.0 commenced with a captivating opening, shedding light on the convergence of diverse perspectives that define the nation’s democratic spirit.
The focal point of this flagship event was the exploration of ‘Viksit Bharat: The Road to 2047,’ with Dr. Anish Shah, Group CEO and MD of Mahindra Group, steering the discourse, the channel said in a press release.
Dr. Shah, also the President of FICCI, articulated the vital role that industries and enterprises will play in propelling national growth and economic prosperity.
He emphasized the economic priorities reflected in the Union Budget, lauded the RBI’s efforts in containing inflation, and highlighted the massive infrastructure development aimed at enhancing India’s competitiveness in manufacturing.
Speaking on India’s ambitious vision, Dr. Anish Shah outlined the goal of achieving a $30 trillion economy by 2047, with manufacturing contributing 25% to the GDP. He urged for even greater ambition, envisioning a sixteen-fold growth in manufacturing and an eleven-fold increase in exports.
The summit’s overarching theme, ‘The People’s Agenda,’ redirected the spotlight onto India’s vast population potential. Over two days of intellectual discourse, the event brought together policymakers, cultural ambassadors, industry experts, celebrities, and luminaries from various sectors. Discussions revolved around leveraging India’s demographic dividend to strengthen its global leadership and propel the nation toward becoming a developed economy.
